Bigger question is why is Intel playing along? all Intel has to do is release the drivers instead of not doing so

Is that true? I'm comfortable using Windows 7 actually. I'm not sure about Windows 10 since I've been hearing a lot of compatibility issues.

Don't think it will just be Intel. Think Amd will be doing the same

I like it though. You have to understand architectures within the CPU's and how they work. The way instructions are sent. Windows 10 really changed multi core utilization and instruction deliveries by working very closely with several of these companies.

I know it sounds sucky, especially to people to who love Windows 7, but would like to upgrade to the new generation because perhaps their CPU is just at the end of it's age. But the fact still is that there is more to it than just the surface of "Another way for big corp to drain our pockets."

I do support this move. There are many, many pro's to it. Plus the mass amount of people who will be "forced" to upgrade means even more people will be finding the problems with 10, reporting them and exposing them to the public... which is another great way to get them removed/fixed even quicker. Plus, over all.. Windows 10 offers some great performance tweaks and increase in general CPU performance.

sorry it sounds crappy, but it really isn't that bad.

Windows 10 will be updated next year with an extended version of their design language that makes the interface look nicer.

I've been happy with Windows 10 for the most part. I only recently had an issue crop up where my Photos, News, and Store apps randomly open up. But the customizability and control (especially with privacy) have been pluses.

Right, I've been pretty pleased with it. Once we pushed through the first couple of months of hell when it was released, because of driver issues, it's been pretty nice since.

To everyone who didn't know... as it currently stands... you'll need to have Windows 10 to use the new AMD cpu's also.

JayzTwoCents is planning on pushing out a video here soon (once the review CPU's come out) what happens when you install a Kaby Lake or AMD Ryzen on a Windows 7/8.1 (sorry guys no 8) PC.
