Hi guys me again. For about a little over a week every time i turn on my PC it says windows can not activate and i looked through my DS binder and i don't seem to have a product key. What should i do to fix this? Thanks.

The Windows product key is on a sticker on the outside of the rig.   Mine is on the right side cover, but it differs.   The message should have a link to use to activate it , usually.

Actually that did not work unfortunately . I then googled my problem and found out my Windows Key Information which gave me the installed product name (windows 8.1), my product ID, my Installed key, and an OEM key but next to that it says Key Not Found. I also typed in my installed key and it said this key didn't work. Any solutions?

You did type in the right number right? You have the S/N number and you have another underneath it that is the windows key

I also assume you are connected to the internet so it can communicate to MS.

Yes it is connected to the internet and yes i have typed in the activation key and when i do it says the key did not work.

Oh also in my bottom right corner it says build 9600 which hasn't been there until the windows can't activate message popped up.

You may need to give DS a call in the morning when they open and see if they can help with the activation problem.

Download the free Belarc Adviser.   Go to the software licenses section and double check the product key it lists with the one on the sticker on your rig.


After that, a call To DS like Arkansas said will be needed to verify it.
