Hey guys I was wondering what z97 motherboard was used in the vanquish 3 because I was thinking about upgrading mine and that way I wouldn't have to worry about compatibility and that I'll know it will fit in the vanquish case. Thank you for the help!

the Vanquish line standard case is a Corsair 230T (mid-tower); which lists: Mini ITX, Micro ATX, and ATX motherboards as being compatible. i'm pretty sure they're all form factor, so it just comes down to which Z97 you want for features, performance, etc.

If I had to guess I'd say the Asus z97- A , but the mobo will usually have the model on the board itself, near the PCIE slots the video card plugs into. The Vanquish 230t case will fit a mini, micro and full size ATX mobo. As long as you keep it z97 with lag 1150 pin count to match the cpu, you should be good.
Why do you want to upgrade it? Just curious. Hope this helps. |
