I've owned the Xbox 360 Halo 3 Special Edition console and currently have the Xbox One Halo 5: Guardians Limited Edition. As you can now guess, I've been waiting for the Xbox Series X Halo edition. Today I was lucky enough to get a PS5 from Sony. Got an email invitation from Sony to buy one.
Questions. I have a PS4 with (ahem) 95 games. And an external HDD with a lot of those 95 games on there.
Will I be able to play those games that are on my HDD? I know there's backward compatibility. But I also know you can't put a HDD on the PS5? What about an HDD with PS4 games on it placed on the PS5? Am I being a little anal retentive(Saturday Night Live)?

Hello there! I am new here and I thought it would be nice to share the first post as a warming up. I am very passionate about games and this post is for people who'd spend their Saturday night playing games on their Xbox just like I do XD. I wanted to share with you a list of games.

First, it's a list of Xbox games;

Second, I tried these games.

So I was looking for Xbox games, and as I use Xbox a lot and as I like my games, I'd like to share some of my favorites.

First off I found a list of games titled "the best games to play on Xbox" and I honestly tried all the games on that list and they are all super good which is why I'd like to recommend them first.

I also checked another list on polygon titled "best Xbox games" and the reviews of all those games were good. Personally, I only tried Outer Wilds on Xbox a,d red dead redemption 2 on pc so I am not sure about how it would be on Xbox, but if it's the same then it's a dope must-try game.

That would be it for today, make sure to check the games and I hope you enjoy them. Also please leave comments down here if you recommend any other games! I'd be glad to have a couple of suggestions on my list.

I think PS4 might be the way to go. Xbox 360 is outdated and no new games can be run by it.
You get better quality using PS4 and although you asked this question on 2016 but ps4 is still way more demanding...
I personally use it to play FIFA, Apex Legends, Uncharted and more, and it's awesome.

My son cut his gaming teeth on FPS back on the PlayStation I had... I realized that at age 9 or 10 I would never beat him head to head. I had to start being devious and sneaky, never giving a fair fight if I wanted to win. That lasted a few years. Then he caught on.

Now, he's approaching 20 and I don't stand a chance.

So, eeekman and bprat gave the right answers. Practice while you are young with lightning reflexes.

Yes, it looks funny. try using a smaller resolution. Something like 640x480 resolution or even smaller resolution. If possible try to CRT TV it will help for sure. This brand new LED TV has a high definition resolution.

Wow what a game. It's just incredible. The graphics are so cool!!! Music !!! I'm an old Tetris gal so was a little skeptical of this. Not anymore. And it's not easy play either. Took me more than an hour to get off one level.

Lol i love how it looks on a flat tv screen, like a moving paint picture. I remember playing these back in the days, the old vacuum tube TVs looked grainy enough themselves so it was a match for old games. Playing games threw an emulator sucks though. I think your best bet is to go online and find an old system for sale somewhere. You can usually find them all over the place. The set I've had the longest is this current one.. Sentey Arches GS4371... Having a larger than normal head they are rather comfortable and haven't had any problems with them other than the cup's lining has worn off. They've lasted longer than the last two sets I had, combined (Turtle Beach and Razer)

Just wish I could replace the foam cups but get no response from the company whatsŒver... /shrug

62 year old Woman gamer here. And yes I go way back.....when I was four and standing on a stool playing pinball with my older brothers. Both my brothers have been dead awhile and both would love gaming with the new games. Any hoo.
I am a VERY competitive person for starters in everything. Had many LAN etc. parties where I was the only chick. Dudes I would beat would cuss and swear and I'd laugh and I'd cuss and swear if they beat me! Lol. What I like the best though is single player because I enjoy competing against myself. Once in awhile I play with others and I turn off chat. Not worth the petty stuff. Us gamer chicks roll with the punches because when your anonymous you can say what ya want. I've always been using Logitech G430 as my trustee headphones. Blue looks good, you can wash the earmuffs separately, it comes with logitech software which is kinda good in equalizing, plus you get 7.1 Dolby surround, amazing for competetive gaming.

See the ultimate goal of these trolls and jerks is to get a reaction out of you. The best way is to turn off chat. Its garbage anyway, unless you are playing with your squad. Its not like the chat is any useful, nobody listens and end up doing what they want.

If you want trash talk to be part of your game then I guess you have to increase your stamina and stomach the extreme below the belt shots. That is fine, it's realistic but why dŒs it have to be historically accurate to be realistic? It can give you the feeling of being in a battle as a member of a squad in a fantasy setting as well.

I have not played the previous games but I am interested in this new one.
