I recently brought aventum x, but found it without integrated power panel, which I supposed to have it from its ad, now I am unable to add new GPUs, frustrating.

Let me clarify... You purchased an item from a builder that didn't have what you thought it should have, yet and still, the builder never told you that this was true or false? It was a bad experience because you assumed something was included/fabricated?
Secondarily, that is not how photos, or .jpgs work. If you would like to know the exact process, I can help. I removed the broken link because it was returning as a "404 page error". Nothing else was changed from your post. |

Let me be clear, I configured my machine start from Aventum X, it mentioned it has the integrated power panel (as showing in the picture)
 .

You've got the pics working, good.
Have you taken your concerns to the head of customer service yet? You can email him at [email protected] and explain your situation. I can honestly say that I've never looked for this particular PCIe Power Panel and wouldn't have a clue on where to find it in the configurator. I do know that there are many who frequent these forums who are exponentially smarter than I am who may be able to help... Yet and still, Alex would be the one to go to with these concerns. I've taken a look at the Aventum X page and I see the picture to which you refer. I also see the following...
  
Can you post a picture of your Aventum X like these to compare? If you have the cable management like these where do your wires go? Asking for my own curiosity as I can only dream of an Aventum (Envy Green, please) and like to live vicariously through those who actually have one.

I would have been on the phone with Digital Storm before I posted on the Forum.
Having been a Digital Storm owner for over 12 years on my second system now, I can guarantee you that they will ensure that you receive a satisfactory response to your concerns one way or the other. Be sure to let us know in a follow-up how your interaction with DS goes. It might prevent misunderstandings for future customers too.

I called the support phone and get the answer that I need to order a so called "exotic cables", but please tell me where can I find it from the configuration (list below), and why you advertise it as integrated??? Anyway, I ordered one ($25), it is not the money but the time!!!, I am so dispointed with answer from Digital Storm. Your hardware and service does not worth the money I spent (> $9000)

The "exotic" cable options are under Cable Management in the configurator.
I was not aware that option also meant DS added a pass-through panel -- on the Aventum, that is. Good to know. |

Reading the description for the Exotic cables it seems to indicate that the only additions are the cable combs and color. I had thought that the power junction/pass through was standard. hmmm  @ jerrywxixi: Thank you for the clarification. I cannot remember this coming up before. |

Yeah, something isn’t right and their response wasn’t right either. The pass through connector is or was advertised as one of the perks of the Aventum case.

Don't call. Email Alex directly to find out what is going on. Calling may get you a support tech, but emailing the head of customer service will get you answers. All of the people that have replied on this thread, myself included, are customers who try to stick around to help others have the best experiences with Digital Storm as we have had.... so, again... email Alex. Looks like the builder working on your PC did not include the power panel because you did not have a GPU that required it, however, they should have still included it.
Must have been a misunderstanding, we're very sorry about that. I'll be reviewing my emails today and I'll get back to you with a solution. |
