Which motherboard is superior to the other? I can't find reviews on the MSI and found bad ones for the ASUS.

Keep in mind that I want to use the M2 960 EVO as my boot and only drive, so I'm kinda worried about heat on it. The MSI doesn't appear to have any heatsink for it.

Asus is supposed to be better, i would not worry about ssd heat too much

I've had good results with ASUS's micro boards. I've also had good results with ASUS boards in general. No personal experience with that specific board however.

I’ve also had zero issues with Asus.    You’ll find every board out there with good and bad reviews.    I use an MSI video card with excellent results.

Thanks for the replies, I'll probably get the ASUS. Any comments about my config? This will be a 4K gaming/general use computer. I don't do video editing, rendering, etc. at all.

Me too, I've had a MSI GTX480 since it came out and am still using it.

Should be ok for 4k you might need sli for some games
