1. Your Budget: ~2k-2.5k 2. Expectations: A super solid gaming computer, that will be able to handle most new games for the next couple of years (nothing unreasonable of course). I already have mouse, KB, monitor. 3. Usage: 90% gaming, 10% surfing I looked at enders config thingy and i came up with this, (load config # 456308)
Would this have enough cooling? I know the original spec had 2 470's, but i think i would prefer a single 580.
Thoughts? Suggestions?

Thank you for your interest in Digital Storm!
Your setup looks good, and yes, that is adequate enough cooling for that configuration. As a side note, the motherboard you selected is currently on back order until the end of November. I recommend going with a different model such as the Asus Sabertooth. |

If i did change that, how quickly would it take to build the system?

Our normal build time, which is about 10-15 business days. We want to ensure that the product we provide you is throughly tested before it leaves our facility.

Twong,
I looked over your configuration and it looks great to me. As Alex mentioned the motherboard that you currently have selected is on back order until around the 30th, so we are suggesting the Sabertooth from Asus in its place. I think you will find that it is a great board and you should not experience any issues with it. I looked over the cooling for your setup and that also looks like it should be plenty. The case you selected gets a great amount of airflow due to all the open ventilation that it has, not to mention that the cooler you selected for the processor is an excellent one. On top of all that, we do monitor temperatures while we are testing the system, so you have the extra added reassurance that if something wasn't adaquate cooling enough, we would catch it before it even left here. If you have further questions, just let me know. |
