Hi Fr0st... Not sure you can specify which card they install.   They buy and install what they can get for the Vanquish semi- prebuilt.    You'd have to contact DS next week for a definitive answer, unless Alex pops in and says.

Either way, the stock case cooling is fine. A single card with multi fans that empty more of its heat into the case will be fine.   It's multi custom cards that need more attention to cooling.

Good luck.

For the VANQUISH, we've been using non-reference for a little while now so you should be ok. I believe you're concerned with cooling, and the truth is you should not be. Especially for the VANQUISH, everything inside runs nice and cool. Even if the graphics card is a reference based design.

Hi Fr0st,

It looks like you are looking at the Vanquish level 3 that comes with the 970 GPU. There is an option that you can upgrade to a 980 STRIX for an additional $224. If you move up to the Vanquish Level 4 then it comes with a 980 and you can upgrade to the STRIX for $33. Just some options to think about and be assured of getting a STRIX GPU.

Thank You guys for all the answers and FrankW I thought about that and I will do it if I can afford to do it, but I don't think I will be able to because I am not American and our currency is 3 for 1 dollar. So it makes approx. 750.

Hi Fr0st,

I can understand how that would be expensive. Good luck with what ever you decide on. The Vanquish is a lot of computer for the money.

I just ordered the exact build in your topic post. Hoping it all works out, and that the 970 is enough power!
