Can anyone suggest a better cooling fan that would fit into the Proformance 2 prebuild. I know 43c at idle isn't bad but, I am thinking of maybe cooling it down even more. Alex? Sarah? DST4ME? Thanks for any suggestions in advance. By the way my daughters rig is in Nevada and should be here tomorrow at noonish. Yay her! Ermm

To be honest 43'C is really good.

Even having your system at 5'C IDLE and 20'C load won't make your guys run any faster, or make your system any more stable. The processors are designed to handle temperatures of up to 100'C and if they get too hot, they automatically down clock themselves.

I would honestly leave it alone since it's been tested to work perfectly with your configuration and there really isn't any problem...

Thanks Alex,

That's information I was unaware of. I wasn't thinking running faster or more stable, I was thinking running cooler. Thanks for your reply, you shed some light on the temp that I did not know about. Broken%20Heart

unless you are above 80 - 85c under load, temp is not an issue for you.

I would say for an overclocked system, above 85'C under full load in a 70'C room temperature would be running to the warm side.

For a non-overclocked system, above 80'C under load in a 70'C room temperature would be running to the warm side.
