My DS PC has only a wired connection but I want to add wireless capability to it.  Do you guys have any recommendations on what to use?.
PCI vs PCI-E vs USB ??

Thanks!

Unfortunately I've had to use a wireless setup for my desktop as well. That being said I haven't noticed any performance difference between pci-e and usb, so I just roll with usb for convenience. Install is automatic, I don't have to go into my pc for it, and you won't have to clutter your board with another card if you're rocking a multi gpu setup.

Roman44 has some good points, I will say this, we recommend mobos like the deluxe for sli setup, just so that there are other pci lanes for situations just like this.

If its something you are gonna put in there once and leave in there, then install is not an issue since its a one time thing.

However if you don't have enough room on the mobo or its something you need to move like Roman44 mentioned, then he does have a good point as to convenience of usb.

Since it sounds like it does not matter, you just need to decide which is the easiest/where would you rather have it, inside pc or outside pc.

Well on my motherboard I still have 3 PCI-E lanes available and 1 PCI lane available,

So I still have plenty of room, but if the usb is just as good as the card options then I could just go with usb.

on the other hand, I will need it as a permanent solution, so a pci-e/pci may be a better idea.

I still am planning on getting a good sound card, so that will take up one of those slots....
