Mine went from Stage 1 in the morning to Stage 2 & 3 by end of business day. It just went to Stage 4 (about a day later) today. I heard 5-7 + shipping are the real time killers...
Looking forward to pics & review once you get it! |

@gloryofthesky,
1. For the verified badge, just change your forums email account to the one you used to place your order. 2. Orders can take time to be processed and assigned. Before we even process an order, many times we check the config with our inventory and assembly teams. Don't worry, we will take care of your order soon. |

Alex, Will the two extra fans on the chassis mod help in tempatures. if so, can you give me a estimate in degrees drop. maybe 5-6 degrees lower?

It would be very minor, I would say 5-6 is correct.

Best coolant fluid?? price is not a issue.
Also, Is it true the more pure the water the better it cools? |

@Alex, Is it possible for my 770 card to be facing upward so I can see the pretty frame not upsidedown. And wouldnt it help cooling because hot air rises

I know the feeling... Mine's on Stage 5 right now. As much as I want it done quickly, I prefer it done right for them to take their time. I know that in the end it will be worth the wait. |

The cards are built one way. I think the Aventum II has the mobo upside down which would put the GPU's the opposite side up... |

The purity of the water has more to do with corrosion and mineral build-up on the components. Don't know if it really helps in it's ability to cool. |

Iv read some people have had there hailstorm II not in tip-top condition on the digital storm forums, it scares me as I don't want it to arrive and be broken and disappoint my dad because all iv told him how wonderful you guys are. Maybe you could put some fragile stickers all over and some extra bubble rap.

Fedex and i'm sure UPS aren't the best at handling products with care even if there were fragile stickers on it. Some people usually have no issue with the shipping and as Alex said before its usually rare for the customer to receive their product damaged due to Fedex or UPS. Edit: Also if anything was to happen DS will help you out and get the issue fixed. Edited by ArkansasWoman777 - 13 Jul 2013 at 9:45am |

Some have suggested having the BOX sent to a business address if possible. The carriers do a much better job handling it.

I've been buying stuff online for 15+ years and have had less than handful of issues out of several hundreds (if not thousands) of items I've received. I've actually had 80lbs speakers shipped via UPS and didn't have an issue at all. I tend to think smaller items get damaged more than larger ones as they are prone to get tossed/thrown around a lot more. Larger/heavier items are usually more complex/fragile so even small bumps tend to hurt them easier. I don't think UPS or FedEx wants to damage your item (unless you have a crappy delivery guy). Sometimes accidents happen. Besides, with DS, you are buying from the one of the most customer service driven companies around and they'll always have your back! I meant to put some Fedex and UPS delivery people or employees instead of just Fedex and UPS itself but i didn't but i know Fedex nor UPS wants to damage peoples items. |

The reason for distilled water over tap water, is that it is non-conductive. The contaminants in tap water can make it conductive. |
