As the title says, I'm interested in overclocking my CPU. I understand some of the basic components of doing an OC, but I'd appreciate some advice from one of the gurus of this site. Here's what I already know:
1. V-core levels need to be 2.2 or lower if I'm correct(Don't want to shorten the lifespan of the CPU).
2. OC is done with 24 hour testing?

As always, any help is appreciated.

I don't overclock , but the vcore of 2.2 will fry your chip.  Under 1.4 or so is the recommended.

There are a lot of videos on oc'ing the 7700k that would be your best bet.

Below 1.4 vcore, the lower the better.

To Test stability of oc properly its best to test wuth prime for 12 to 24 hours, you are looking for stability in system and system temps (below 80c)

Start out slow set 1.26 vcore and slowly raise the multiplier, find the highest stable oc you can get with that vcore.

By the time you have found that oc speed, yiu have also got a good idea of what you are doing.

For now don't worry about ocing ram and etc.

Is there a specific program that you have used or can recommend?

I use prime but I believe we are not supposed to mention it. If you do use prime use v26.6 or newer
