I decided to dump Xbox and join PC Master Race lmao i used to hate you guys every time I’d hear that, but now I’ll be the one saying and i can’t wait, my brothers just jumped to M&K with the Xim Apex while playing on console. I’ve never played on PC so i know there will be a learning curve but I’ll stick with it and hopefully be way better than i was on console. My build is awesome... i think, i May add more ram or a second video card but for now I’m extremely happy with it. Here’s the specs:
i9 9900k Stage 2 overclock
Z390 Rog Maximus Xi Hero Wi-Fi
16 GB DD44 GSkill TridentZ (should i dbl it?)
GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11gb w/ graphics boost
Corsair H100i liquid cooler
Storage 1 Samsung 970 Pro 512gb (enough?)
Storage 2 2TB seagate
850W Corsair Power
It’s all in the Lumos case with RGB fans and the upgraded wiring kit. I got the OS Boost as well, ordered it last week and everyday I’m checking the progress lol the wait is killing me.

All playing platforms are fun. (Don't throw away the console. )
The Lumos is a very good case and those components are top notch. What resolution (monitor) are you going to play on? Don't think you need more RAM or the GPU oc. The second video card is not necessary with that one.

Nice rig. Congrats

Unless you high end game on a 4 k monitor, the single 1080 Ti will do it.

PCs handle ram different from consoles. 16 gb ram is all you need for most gaming.   Some flight sims do recommend 32gb if you get into high density, populated air.

My friend told me I’d have more fun and a better experience going 2k instead of 4k and to avoid the 2080 until the 1080i is classified as old so that’s what i did. I have a Samsung 27” Curved 144hz 2560x1440 as my monitor. My Xbox is the x version so I’ve been playing it on 4k but he was telling me it’s limited to 60fps so I’d probably enjoy the 2k computer more. I tired using my brothers k&m last night and it was a disaster lol gonna need lots of practice

You will be very pleased. The 1440/2K monitors IMO are at the moment the best of breed. I have a PG279Q and love it. The RTX cards will be great when there are more games with the proper code written for them but right now the 1080Ti is another best of breed (also IMO) for the money. That card runs that resolution like they were made for each other. Strong

I ordered a very similar Lumos and you’re just ahead of me. I ordered on Friday the 26th and I am still in stage 1. You’re slowing mine down! Haha I’m jk! But I am seriously so anxious to get it here and it’s going to be the longest wait of my life.

yeah thats kind of were my worry is, if its not made it to me by the day before thanksgiving the amount of packages shoots up so bad around thanksgiving a 5 day travel time becomes 10
