Hey guys, jsut got my rig
its awesome. I never had a pc with 2 hard drives so im sorta lost in that aspect. Umm when i download stuff, it usually just saves the downloader at the C drive under a user, wondering if theres a way for me to change that to the secondary drive cause my first drive is my ssd and i dont want taht to fill up. How do i make my second hdd act similar to my first?

Assuming you are using a browser to download, you can change your download location in the settings for the browser.
Another thing I do is have the location for my valuable office documents on the second or third drive. I do this because if things mess up, it's usually the C: drive. And, viruses know where to find your My Documents folder. |

Because that's what the default is set to. If using Firefox (or any
other browser for that matter) you can easily change this by going to
Tools > Options > General Tab > Downloads > click Save files to > Browse > Computer > and what ever
your other drive is named for example A: Now you don't have to worry about that anymore.

If you are using win 7. Go to your user folder on the c drive. right mouse click and select properties. Then under location, just change it to your other drive. You may want to do that on all your folders. Music, Doc., Video., ect. This way you won`t fill up your SSD Drive. Thats what i did. Hope this helps.
