Here's an alternate to your build, but with...

A better psu for additional $34.  Gold vs bronze efficiency and double the warranty and fully modular wiring.

Better gtx 1070...EVGA  and zero fan rpm under 60C.

Better SSD and HDD.  The Western Digital is better for reliability and warranty.  The Samsung EVO has its own warranty and not the branded DS with only their warranty, plud you know what your getting.

Better cooler.  Again not the DS branded, but Corsair and their warranty beyond DS's.

Stick with the Z170 Chipset rather then the X99 Chipset Motherboard. Z170 is running off the most current processor generation Skylake whereas the X99 Broadwell-E's are indeed powerful, but their format is on the way out. While there is a possibility that Kabylake will be compatible with Z170 boards, as evident by some bio updates for the upcoming format, it's still somewhat to be seen what Kabylake really brings to the table. The i7-6700k is one of those legendary processors and will get the job done.

Kabylake (7700k) will be a little better than 6700K you could probably oc it to 4.7 easy vs 4.4 easy on the 6700k, aka we could see 700k at 5.0GHz with good vcore, but that is not too far off of 4.7GHz on 6700k with good vcore. Not that big of a deal to wait for.

As mentioned the x99 is the old platform, however it does currentlhy offer more than 4 cores, but for gaming 4 cores is more than enough, you only go higher on cores if you have some apps that use it like heavy media editing or other apps that actually have use for more than 4 cores.

so for games you want to be on the z170 and for power use you want to be on x99 for now.
