Hi,

To answer your question, can you? Yes

Should you? No

While I can definitely see the reasoning behind 2 programs seeming like twice the security, it's unfortunately not how it works. In fact, multiple anti-virus programs often work against each other, meaning that you end up with less security than you would with just a single program. This has to do with how the programs access and monitor your computer's resources.

So I do not recommend installing two programs, and instead recommend getting a solid single anti-virus.

Which program are you currently using?

Hi ethardsdaisy92,

Welcome to the forum. Tidgxor gave you the correct response. You can, but don't. They will conflict with each other and provide you with all sorts of irregularities that will take away from your enjoyment. The best anti-virus is yourself. Don't surf indiscriminately and visit all sorts of sites. That is how you get infected. That said, a little backup in the form of a good antivirus s'ware is always beneficial. Enjoy.

Personal experience.... I did and it didn't work out so well. Get a good AV and run a good malware scan with it. (Malwarebytes, ect).
