I was talking to my brother and he's got an old PC said he can not play anything because his graphics card is not compatible even with Steam games like Darkest Dungeons.
I was thinking to get him the cheapest PC as a gift. It's not an option for me to spend any more than the lowest PC from Digital Storm. I was curious if this lowest configuration PC is any good? $799 System Configuration: Chassis Model: Digital Storm VANQUISH 7 - Level 1 Processor: AMD Ryzen 3 1200 (4-Core) (Boost Up to 3.4 GHz) Motherboard: ASUS / MSI (AMD B350M Chipset) (Up to 2x PCI-E Devices) System Memory: 8GB DDR4 2400MHz Digital Storm Performance Series Power Supply: 600W Corsair / EVGA (Supports up to an NVIDIA GTX 1080 Graphics Card) Storage Set 1: 1x Storage (2TB Seagate / Toshiba) Internet Access: High Speed Network Port (Supports High-Speed Cable / DSL / Network Connections) Graphics Card(s): 1x GeForce GTX 1050 2GB Edited by rai-zero - 16 Dec 2017 at 5:02pm |

Hi rai-zero,
Your brother is very fortunate in having you caring. Can't help you with what the V7 Lvl1 can do. I want to say you will be fine at 1080 resolution but others with more knowledge will provide better answers to your question. Welcome back. Edited by hoserator - 16 Dec 2017 at 12:07pm |

What is your brother's current system? Wouldn't a gpu upgrade help instead?

not sure what PC he has, I think it's rather old like 4+ probably a low end consumer PC from that time.
I'm willing to bet that his PC is on it's last leg. Edited by rai-zero - 16 Dec 2017 at 12:21pm |

thanks, I just want to get a PC not upgrade his old PC.
I was curious how the low spec V7 level 1 is going to be? If his old rig is any good he can let his kiddies use it. Edited by rai-zero - 16 Dec 2017 at 12:53pm |

Well with your budget gpu upgrade should be better than $700 pc.
To answer your question, we need to know what is the native resolution of your monitor |
