Budget: $2400
have monitors/keyboard/mouse
almost all gaming, looking for function, nothing fancy.   Would love to see what you guys would recommend.

If its for gaming, post your res in teh config section and we will take it from there.

also look at ode builds too, IMHO ode 1 or 3 depending on your res.

I tend to game at high rez, so I was leaning towards the Ode or something comparable.  Sorry I posted this in the wrong forum, been busy and was just a quick entry.  Spent several hours looking at other such post and got the information I was looking for.  Very impressed with the amount of general knowledge willfully shared on this forum.

The res you game at is dependent on your monitor, What is the native resolution of the monitor you gonna be gaming at?

For that res you gonna want sli 570, so ode 3 is your best choice.

That is what I was thinking.  How will it preform with multi monitors of all the same rez?

Multi monitor you gonna want option for tri sli which the p67 does not really offer, and gpus with more vram.

also when you have say 2 monitors at 1920 x 1080, then your combine res is now for example 3840 x 1080, so that is your new res.

now that is if you using both monitors to game on.

If you are just using one monitor to game and teh second monitor for surfing and etc, then that will make no difference in gaming and sli 570 is great

Thanks again.  I tend to use the other monitors to surf while gaming, I may go with your suggestion in the near future.

If you are gaming on one monitor at 1920 x 1080, then sli 570 is what you want.
