Nope. It’s just whining. A small number of whiney people and Asus haters that really get into the sport of heavy Overclocking seem to want more phases in the boards VRM, but normal users like you and I with normal safe CPU overclocks won’t have any issues with this excellent Asus mobo. No worries...

Lol...You get twice the cost but you don’t get 2X performance with 2X NVLink GPU’s. Not even 30%. At 1920 x 1080 or 2K /1440 resolutions, 2X NVLink GPU’s may even have worse performance than a single GPU. Only about half the gaming titles can scale now to use NVLink/SLI, and not all of them even gain much performance compared with a single GPU. (btw...most game titles settings and NVidia Control Panel still will refer to the old name SLI for multi-GPU scaling...even though the tech NVLink uses is quite different from SLI now)
That said, if you absolutely must game at 4K resolutions at high refresh rate on a big monitor, then in just those NVLink/SLI compatible 4K game titles, a 2X NVLink GPU solution SHOULD offer significant performance increases compared with a single GPU. If you are happy gaming at 2k/1440 or 1920 x 1080, then I would say put the extra money into the best single GPU with the best cooling solution you can afford for the best gaming GPU performance. I reference this 2018 Tech Power Up work up on the subject.... https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/NVIDIA/GeForce_RTX_2080_Ti_SLI_RTX_2080_SLI_NVLink/9.html |

Yup.....If you are gaming at 2K WQHD Demon, stick with just one amazing RTX 2080 Ti for the best possible gaming performance!

We were talking about 1 card vs 2...lol. . You’ll still be able to game at 4K with one excellent RTX 2080 Ti just fine if you choose. No worries.

I'm gonna chime in here because I'd like to disagree with that statement. I've seen Alex do some pretty incredible things in the last 5 years or so along the lines of working with customers. This is just a guess, but I'm pretty sure that he would rather you be happy with your purchase than he would be just making a sale. Remember, DS builds customer loyalty more than it does computers. When your machine shows up and you've got everything that you could have ever wanted right in front of you, you're going to tell others... and that why most of us are still here on the forums years after purchase...because we want others to feel the same way about DS. So, Alex may enjoy an adult beverage or two (I don't know if he even drinks or not) i can guarantee that it's not because of you. |

Well I guess here is this
Hi Clint, I tried to speak with the team to get your changes approved, however I got push back because we had already assumed your new order was finalized. We cannot make any changes on the order (adding a second graphics card) as we already have informed you that we can’t modify the configuration once we start (this was the reason to also make your build a priority). I know you don’t want the system as configured from your originally with one graphics card, so at this time, it will be best for us to simply issue you a full refund and cancel your order. We wish you the very best on your search for the PC of your dreams. Regards, Alex |

Sorry to hear that. There is so much a company will do to please its customers and then it stops being worth it. It would probably be best if you build your own. It is very satisfying. I just did and I can't believe it.
