My first DS Order - Shiny Slade!

So per the recommendation of my roommate (who bought his PC from DS a few years ago on Black Friday), I decided last week to make a big purchase and get a new PC for myself! Woohoo!

As of today my order is still in Stage 1 But I send a message to DS so here's to hoping things move along!

Stage 1 for a few days isn't unusual while they gather the parts and put your rig in Queue. 

The wait is tough.

It probably should've moved by now, and I can see the concern.   My guess is they're busy and things aren't moving as fast as other times.  Just a guess on my part. 

Yeah, a call or email to them might help.  

Rest assured, it's in their best interest, for the customer and themselves, to get the builds out the door as soon as possible, without skimping on quality and testing.

The installation of the operating system, drivers and any applications that are specific to the system you ordered are completed here. Our Digital Storm Integration Engineer will also install any demos, benchmark utilities, and burn-in software necessary to correctly monitor your systems performance throughout our burn-in process.

Did you get any emails advising you to fax/email a credit card auth form and proof of ID? I had to send these over before they could process due to the dollar amount. I even called my bank and gave them a heads up prior to purchasing. I moved to Stage 2/3 the day they worked this info.

When i first ordered my system i was sent an email advising to fax/email proof of id and card. I really didn't want to go through the hassle of doing it so i just decided to wire transfer the money to them.

Got to get that Slade! I tried looking for some videos of the new design last night. There isn't much out there. Lot's of videos about the Slade 1.

I think I've read Stage 5 tends to be the longest. Talk about getting over a big hurdle.

If we let DS4TME "Stage 8" our rigs, they'll get an inferiority complex when placed next to the Monolith of Fans and Lights.

Ironically, based on the current timeline, I'll be out of town when its delivered. Thankfully, the rest of the house can lift the beast up the stairs.

I bet you'll hit Stage 7 today!

I think I'm wearing the F5 key out on my current machine and wearing a hole into the refresh icon on my phone. Its a bad scene.

I wouldn't be surprised if you did. Just think you'll have a tracking number and then you can start mistaking every car door, wind chime, and text message as the delivery driver or a shipping alert.

Oh the humanity! I'd love to see the line of PC's sitting in Stage 5 and 6. I picture 50 yards of machines and the QA person just up a (digital?) storm.
