Waiting for my new computer to come,so I am in the process of picking monitors. I like these 2 with 120hz-- Anybody have 1 of these? or any suggestions?

I've had the ASUS VG236H for over a year now and I must say I really enjoy it. Gaming is very fluid, especially when playing Counter Strike: GO. The viewing angle affects colors but that might just be my monitor that has some defect.

Hi Postalworker,

CNET gave the ASUS VG236H three stars. They felt there was a problem with a green tint to the screen. The screen also is very glossy. The only reason to consider these screens is for 3D. You can buy an IPS screen for less money with a better picture for 2D.

unless you are a world class gamer playing for money you do not need 120hz, i was in the same situation as you 120hz or ips i got the dell u2412m ips monitor the picture quality is amazing and there is absolutely no input lag etc.

Thanks for replies guys. Is the 120hz monitors over hyped? Some people swear by them thats its a big difference. Dunno.
