Also, Will Nvidia's Fermi have DX11 and when will it be released to Digital Storm? Will Fermi be better than ATI's current cards?

Fermi will be better yes.
DS will have them when they are released and available, everybody is hoping by end of march. only $6000??? thats a tight budget, I'm not sure if I can build a system with little of a budget, are you sure you can't exceed it? What resolution will you be gaming at? do you want LC? if yes do you want it on cpu only or both cpu/gpu LC is not a necessity, so you don't have to have it. 1. What is FASS?
2. Thanks you the configs. 3. Also, Can i use a 28 or 30 Inch HDTV for my computer screen? What about the 28 inch HANNS monitor Digital Storm has? Is it a HDMI monitor? Can that be used as my computer screen and my TV? If the monitor says HDMI, Can i hook it up to my computer and use it as a screen? Sorry for all of the questions, i just needed to know this. 1. FASS is the 2TB 64MB cache HDD, its pretty quick and great for a drive as file storage.
2. My pleasure 3. a. you can use a tv as monitor tho I'm not sure how well that would be, tvs don't make the best monitor IMO. b. if you want a good ips monitor then check out Dell UltraSharp U2410 for a 24" and UltraSharp 3008WFP. the hanns is an ok monitor but its not an ips panel, its tn panel. c. any monitor can be used as a tv and vise versa, new ones of course. all hdmi does is carry sound, as far as image goes dvi and hdmi are the same, and one does not have hdmi you just convert the dvi to hdmi via an adapter. d. ask as many questions as you like. if you want my advise, go with the second build and put the rest toward a good 30" monitor, if you gonna endup with a smaller monitor then 30", then you will not need the second 5870, cause 1 x 5870 is all you need for 1900 x 1200. 2. Can you give me a link to some good, quality monitors that can be used as my TV AND my computer monitor? I was thinking of a 30 inch monitor with capabilities to be a TV as well Edited by Nick123 - 16 Feb 2010 at 7:52pm |

My pleasure
I'm assuming its for gaming first and tv second: Dell UltraSharp U2410 (24") UltraSharp 3008WFP 30-inch Widescreen Flat Panel Monitor with Height Adjustable Stand UltraSharp 3007WFP-HC 30-inch WideScreen Flat Panel Monitor (older version of above 3008) you can also checkout newegg for nec and planar, you will have to filter thru those and nec will be more expensive, IMO the dell monitors are good monitors. |
