Hi All, My Fiance' and I just purchased our Lumos yesterday night. We used a new 0% card to make the purchase and we got a fraud alert on it. We think this happened just because the card is new. Anyways, I just wanted to make sure that the payment was good on your end as I haven't received a notification of order process just yet. The order # is OK83108122. Any help would be appreciated |

Welcome to the forums and the DS Family.
You're going to have to call DS directly with your question as these forums are mainly for customers to interact with each other. While there is a DS presence here (ALEX!) he is not a regular contributor. So, give them a call and barring that try emailing Alex directly at [email protected]. Again, welcome to the fun! |

Congratulations and welcome to DS. Snaike has you going in the right direction to clear up your order. We are curious, so please excuse my asking what did you order inside that great case? Inquiring minds wonder.

Haha, appreciate the assist, hoserator. As far as the build goes, nothing too spectacular: Chassi: Lumos CPU: Ryzen 7 3700X MOBO: MSI MPG X570 Gaming Pro Carbon RAM: 16GB DDR4 @ 3200 P/S: 850W Corsair Storage: 500 GB SSD + 2TB SATA GPU: 2070 Super Cooling: Stage 1 Liquid I also snagged that 31.5 inch 144 hz 1 MS monitor by MSI. ... Color me excited! I used to build way back in the day ... but don't have the inclination to really do it anymore. I'd like to get back into the enthusiast side of things though, seems like you've got a great little community here. I'll try to participate whenever I can :D

Did you order the stock DS 500 GB M.2 SSD for Drive 1 ?
The preferred choice would be to use a Samsung EVO M.2 NVME SSD for your Drive 1. M.2 NVME drives use the motherboard’s PCIE (video) bus for 5X faster performance, while the stock DS M.2 is just a SATA III M.2 SSD Drive. If you want to make a change, contact DS and ask ASAP and it should be no trouble to upgrade! |

If you are going ~500 GB for Drive 1, the Samsung 512 GB 970 PRO is selling cheaper than the consumer (EVO) version right now. Steal that one. All the other Samsung PROs are NOT on sale and are not worth extra $. |

Good call, gentlemen. And, yes, that's exactly what I did; bought the stock DS SATA III. I just scanned for M.2 and didn't even think to check the difference between the two interfaces...That increase in speed is nuts. I'll call DS and see if it's not too late to change it up. Much appreciated!

Welcome to the family Korvalos!
Just contact the sales department, give them your order number and the upgrade you want. I did the same thing and didn’t realize I purchased sata. The sales dept changed my part, I paid the small amount for the upgrade. They emailed me a updated configuration and order number Take care |

DS hours are 9-5 pacific Monday-Friday.
Your best be now is to get an email message directly to the guy who is in charge of "getting things done". Send note to Alex at [email protected] and work with him. He's really good and making his customers and clients happy with their choice to get one of his machines. |

Roger that, Snaike.
I'm not worried or anything and I know phase 1 takes the longest. I just wanted to make a post showing that with back to school and the specials they've run it is to be expected they're going to be busy. Not to mention, in the grand scheme of things, the wait time to ensure you get a rock solid PC is worth every day of the future years of ownership. |

It takes quite a while - I'm almost at 1 month now and on stage 5. Alex said my computer would ship middle of this week. Hopefully yours will fast-track soon!

Ship ETA is either 08/30 or 09/03 (depending on how busy I assume and Labor day being that Monday). Here's hoping sooner rather than later :)
Alex was responsive and I also received a call from DS first thing on Monday with regards to the vmail I left. I'm still in Stage 1 as of this posting but later stages come pretty quick I'm told. |

Just wanted to chime in, please note, this is one of the busiest times of the year for us due to it being Back to School season. There could be extra time that orders sit in Stage 1, Stage 5, or Stage 6, but our team is aware of the backlogs and are working hard to ship orders ASAP.
If your order has passed the estimated ship day that is on your invoice, please do reach out to our team so we may help. |

Update: Officially made it to Stage 2! There was a backlog of Ryzen 3700x CPUs. I should be moving through more quickly now.
