Hi everyone!
I have a few questions.
I recently purchased a used digital storm avon laptop (Been searching for something and ran into DS and saw how well their support program is and wanted to give it a shot). I was wondering what the policy is for technical support and warranty for second owners?

Also on the specs page, the laptop is listed as being 7.5 lbs with battery pack. Does that mean with the charger unit or is the laptop really almost 8lbs?

Edit: Also I can't find where it say this but what material is the laptop made out of?

Here's a quote from their warranty statement..........Digital Storm warrants to the original purchaser that any part of the hardware system, excluding software, documentation and similar items, will be free of defects in workmanship and materials for the period the warranty included with the purchase from the date of delivery to Customer.

Looks like original purchaser only, but a call to them might be best.

Laptops are made of plastic, that I've seen.

The weight is laptop and battery, not the charger brick and chord.

We can transfer ownership and warranty but depends on a case-by-case basis. Send me an email with your order information including the serial number so we can look into it.
