Welcome to the forum Knate616 !
Heavy build. You will like the Lumos! For what you are gaming, on one excellent water cooled RTX 2080 Ti, the MSI Godlike mobo is bigtime $$$$$ overkill with all those unused PCIE slots...you could still use a different top line mobo by dropping to the Asus Hero and save serious money to put to better use. Also, when we hear of leaks on the forum, it’s usually been the hard line tubing. Soft tubing is the best choice in a system that is being shipped. Hard tubing just isn’t very flexible. Suggestion - Change your Drive 1 selection. You want to take advantage of the way faster M.2 NVME Samsung Evo or Evo Pro drives that use the mobo PCIE bus. There are 2 M.2 sockets on the Asus Hero mobo and 3 on the MSI Godlike mobo. Make use of them! That DS M.2 Drive just shares the slower SATA III BUS. If you can afford it, move up to Corsair Vengeance or Dominator RAM for high quality & better warranty. For most gaming 16 gb RAM is all that’s needed, but flight simulators might be able to use more. Corsair RAM adds RGB lighting that can be controlled to match your excellent Corsair LL fans using the Corsair iCue software. Good Acer IPS GSync 27” monitor you will use... This rig will slay all competition.... Edited by HockeyBuck - 18 Mar 2019 at 11:40am |

Welcome to the DS family... that's quite the impressive build you've put together. I don't think you're going to have any issues in getting to 5 - 6 years.
Cheers! |

I changed up what you suggested if I was an asus fan i'd downgraded the mobo but in time i will apply hardware to those last few pcie slots but i have vacation in may so i will look into my funds after that. A pleasure sir! What a beast this rig will be.... Hope we all get to see some pics and a review here on the forum when you get your new killer Lumos up & running! Think you will really like water cooling, and I would expect it helps the RTX 2080 Ti live an even longer more stable temp life than it could on air.

Congratulations and welcome to DS. That will be a great looking and performing system. Be aware that in the future when you decide to populate the empty pcie slots, the hardline will get in the way. Enjoy. |

The Velox is their own design. Not a Corsair, etc.
What doesn’t fit in the Lumos? Maybe the hardline full water cooling? I would double think the Hardline, unless you’re comfortable draining and moving the tubing if needed. Looks good. |

The Velox is a proprietary and very nice roomy case. No other pc maker has it. Be aware that the window is on the right side facing the pc opposite the Lumos and so the mobo is upside down so the gpus are on top. The window is not glass also. |

Do I need to call and ask for them to put a drain valve at the bottom of the reservoir.to assist for easy flushing and quick cleans?

You can ask, but I’m not sure they will do that with the hard line tubing.
