Yeah i would like a Samsung, i Currently have one and its max res is 1680x1050. I am just wanting to go one step up to take full advantage of the 480. This ol 260 has served me well but , with the new rig coming  i want a big monitor.

several guys on these forums will reccomend ips monitors to you, if youre willing to spend that much, im sure youd enjoy one

i, not being in that price range, dont look too much into those, something in this list should suit you
main thing is you want at least 1920x___ or higher

its increasingly tough to search for monitors these days becuase the stats given by the mfg tend to be .... weighted? i think its a good idea to check out the brands in person even if you dont buy so you can see what looks best to your eyes, everyone is different

to me, in your range, these look pretty good

i wouldnt go over the 2 monitors on the right side of what i showed you, if you want to go over that price, you should look in to ips monitors, which i dont know enough about to advise you, but i know that dell makes a really good one and so does hp

I have the Samsung SyncMaster P2770HD 1920x1080 got it at Costco.  they have them for $ 329 or 350 right now and i couldnt be happier gaming with it playing BC2 and COD.  I am running it off a GTX-260 right now and it looks great.
