I find it hard to buy into razer products anymore, the quality to price ratio is horrible..

Sadly i own the 120$ model and ive been regreting it ever since.
Bottom line is they are no better then a pair of 20$ logitech headsets.

i coulda told you that , although there kinda comfy the quality of the sound is bad, and so is the mic. and i havnt tried anything else but the HP-1's, so i cant speak for the other headphones.
like i think i said in a previous thread. Studio monitor headphones ftw . |

Since I use headphones quite often, could someone point me to something very good for gaming and movies? A link would be especially useful.

I have a pair of these Sennheiser Headphones They sound wonderful, and they are very comfortable. However, keep in mind these are just headphones (there is no microphone for gaming). |

They look nice, and im sure they sound nice being senns and all, but im not a big fan of huge boom mics like that.. jamesastros senn 595's are a good choice . i currently use the Sony MDR-7506's and they sound great. my next pair will be the 595's |

Its not just the razers headsets that suck, some keyboards theyve made fall in the "suck" pile as well.
The only thing theyve been getting right is their gaming mouse.

I have those senn PC350s... i love them. i also got them for $130, which at the time was a screaming deal - not sure what would be a good deal now (that was about 6 months ago). they are fantastic: both playback and the mic are exceptional for what they cost imo.

oooOOOOOoooo
Sennheiser even has wireless headsets!
I don't need a microphone for gaming since I have a 50% hearing loss, I won't be doing any gaming where I need to talk with anyone.
