ya i like the fact that i have the most up to date OS, and for the most part everything runs great. but some of my things dont have drivers . for instance my digital video recorder ( Dazzle DVC100) doesnt have a 64 bit vista driver . among other things. thank god i have a version of 32 just incase i decide i wanna run 32 bit. anyone else feel the same way ? if i decided to switch to 32 bit will i still have DX10? what will be the differences if i switch to the other version ???

32 will only use 2.5 gigs of ram while 64 can use up to 8.

64 bit can actually address up to ~17 billion gigabytes.

Didn't DST4ME say that there's a 32-bit folder within the 64-bit section, when such an occasion like this would occur?

I think you're confusing programs with drivers. Hardware such as printers and capture cards require a 64-bit driver in order to work with a 64-bit operating system. |

Ohhhhh. So 32-bit programs that need a 32-bit environment goes to said folder, but beyond that. Drivers and such won't work.
Bummer. |
