So. My computer hit stage 7 mid day yesterday. But it didn't ship today? I'm a bit confused

The Stages are finicky beasts. Big%20Smile

Stage 7 sometimes means that it will ship the same day (lucky, but it has happened!), sometimes the next business day, and sometimes even later than that depending on the current "load" of orders. I would not be concerned over this, but what you can do is give DS a call/contact them and ask for an update on when they think it might be shipping.

Stage 7 IIRC is just "Ready for Shipment"... so, depending on the pick up schedule of the shipping company it could be different. For example you could have ordered rail/truck delivery only (or something really heavy that they have to ship on a pallet) and even though it is in Stage 7 on Tuesday, the pick up for freight is on Friday.

Nothing to be concerned over... just know that it is coming and sacrifice a cardboard box to the shipping gods for a safe, jostle-free ride to your front door.

So. I finally got around to calling them and seeing what was up with my order. Was told it would ship within an hour. It didn’t. Which is weird since my estimate was within 1 business day

The hour seems oddly specific. I'm not doubting you in the least. Was it confirmed by DS that it didn't ship, or did you just not receive a tracking number/shipping email?

The person I spoke with said within the hour because the truck normally comes around 3. And it wasn’t confirmed by them. I just never got the email with the tracking number

That comes from the carrier, and can take up to another 24 hours, I believe. Hang tough, it's coming!

It could possibly already be shipped then? Just no tracking number as of yet?

Just curious. When did you purchase? its my first purchase with DS and I just wanted to know how accurate they are with their shipping.

Alright. So, this is just an upgrade I’m having DS do. With that said I only ordered the baseline PC of the vanquish 6. Which shipped out in 4 days I think? But my friend bought a 7 recently and it took a full month

Did you check your spam folder? I got an email at 2:38PM Friday that my system hit stage 7 and then at 5:50PM I got another email stating it had been shipped and it had a tracking number in it.

Yep. Just looked, nothing. Like i’am not sure what’s going on. I hit stage 7 on Tuesday at like 1PM. I’m hopeful for a Monday shipment. If not, I’m officially concerned

Hi Alex, I also hit stage 7 Friday but didn't get anything either. Will it ship Monday?
