I'm about to purchase a new DS PC which will be used mainly for Sim Racing. I'll be using a single 4K monitor and a Oculus Rift alternately and may want to move to a triple monitor setup. I'll also have a full cockpit set up. This is the config I'm considering ... I'm pretty sure it's more than capable but was wondering if it's overkill. Or did i miss something that I'll regret later?

Hi trichef1... you put together a real nice rig.
Not sure the requirements of Sim Racing, but for 4 k gaming the gtx 1080 Ti is recommended in most cases. I'm sure the gtx 1080 will do a good job and might be all you need if the game isn't very demanding graphics wise. 32gigs of ram is more than you'll ever use. I would drop to 16gb and maybe put the money to the 1080Ti. Looks good and hope this helps. |

Thx for the input. Here's what I finally decided on and ordered. I'm sure there's a bit of overkill like the 32 gig ram. But all in with a $ 100 special offer savings I was at $3K which was as high as I wanted to go.
