Hi there everyone

I was thinking about getting a Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) System and was wondering what one I should get. As I have heard that you need to have one that has the right wave form (I think)

Have been using APC's XS 1500 for many many years (a few batteries have been replaced) for the computers (3) and no issues. Have a smaller one for the modem and router. Keeps them from constantly rebooting whenever there is a power brownout or blackout.
Also have a Zero Surge power filter between the APC and the wall outlet to soften the flow of electrons a bit. Don't use a power strip/surge protector. It is useless.
Good luck. Big%20Smile

I can't say much for specific experiences with brands. Professionally I've seen a lot of APC units over the years, personally I've used a CyberPower for about 8 years now. But I couldn't intelligently speak to model differences or other brands. Smile

As for the wave form, if you can find a unit that like and can afford, you definitely want to look for "Pure" Sinewave over Simulated Sinewave.
