Ordered my first PC, 27th of November.

All I can afford haha but looking forward to it.
Also saving up for the future to upgrade it slowly.
Is there any recommendations for future upgrades? At the moment I have console so I will mainly be playing games on that but I will be slowly transitioning and playing light games for now which Is why I went with a Level 1.

I was looking at eventually upgrading the graphics card to GTX 1026 6GB.

Congratulations and welcome to DS.Awesome
that is a sweet system to upgrade since it has no video card. When ready a GTX1060 6GB is the best card for upgrading. Don't know about the new RTX cards enough to tell you which would be a good complement. Others will be more up to date with that info.
Enjoy. Big%20Smile
Keep us posted and pictures would be nice.  Excited

The 8GB of RAM will carry you quite well for awhile yet. IMO, the CPU is a quality chip. It won't be the most powerful around, but it definitely won't hold back a GTX 1060 at 1080p resolution. The video upgrade is your sweet spot to really improve when you think you need it.

You have the right idea for getting into PC gaming, and you've got a solid rig to start you on your way!
Congrats.

Beware the shipping delays with all the holidays coming around. If it's gotta go cross-country, it could be held up awhile.

Thanks for letting me know, luckily I live close so I was able to get my PC Yesterday, finally have it up and ready.

I will post a picture of it soon.
I was thinking of having future upgrades and wondering want would be good recommendations.

I am getting a GTX 1060, would it also be a good idea to upgrade the motherboard? I currently have an msi a320m pro-vh plus and was looking at B450 Aorus pro wifi.

I don't advise you to upgrade anything but the video until there is a real awareness that something is holding you back. I honestly wouldn't expect you to deal with that for a long while. How long? I'd guess at least a year and a half to maybe 2 1/2. You might want to look into getting a SATA SSD earlier than anything else. It's a nice upgrade, and easy to install.

Changing out your motherboard is basically rebuilding the rig, which begs the question why you didn't just build your own to begin with.

Great thanks for the advice! Yeah for the motherboard I was looking into the future not any time soon since I am totally new to it.

I have a question the fans sounds a bit noisy, and runs around 1180 rpm is that normal?

Random question Rafita. Did your order go from Stage 1 right to stage 7, or did it go through each stage? I've heard that the prebuilts are processed differently.

They went through each stage, some stages took faster than others. What took really long that initial stage 1.

I have a question on customizing the PC for future reference. I have the Vanquish level 1 and I am wondering how would I take off the cover of the power supply to grab the cables.

Well, I wish I could help with that, but IDK. Hope someone else will tell you, but there's always DS LIFETIME tech support.

What I can tell you is that the power supply you have is a quality part from a quality maker. The DS branding means they can use several quality makers at once to keep the supply flowing. (Like Corsair, EVGA, and Thermaltake.)

There is far more overhead in that part than you might think. It will be good enough for up to an RTX 2070, which is a quantum leap from your integrated graphics. You may have as much as 350-400 watts to spare right now.

When buyers come to us with a budget for a custom build, we do tend to recommend the Corsair 750. At only $63 more, we think the modularity of the cabling and the 5 year warranty from Corsair make it a slightly better pick, but it's not so much for the power difference. One of the things that makes the DS 600W less expensive is the warranty comes from DS and not the manufacturer.

Hope it helps.
