1) What RAM they uses changes depending what they have in stock, you will probably not notice a difference between the RAM you chose and the less expensive ram DST4ME sugested. 2) He changed a few things: Your video card to the stock 5870, you can OC that one on your own with better results if you so chose, it will save you 100$. Your cooler, the one he recommended will provide slightly better temps. Your processor, the 920 will OC just as well as the 930. Also, unless you plan to add another HDD on your own that 150gig will fill up quick. I personally can't tell much of a difference between the load times of my two computers, one with 2 10k hdds in a raid 0 and the other a regular 500gb 7200rpm HDD. My personal recommendation would be to just go with a normal 1TB WD drive. I'd rather my boot times go up by ~10 seconds than to have to deal with a constantly full 150gig HD. |

I agree with what Herniter siad with the exception of the HDD, HDD1 should always be small and fast, its not just loading times, read and writer and transfer and etc, I do notice the difference between my veloci and a regular drive, but he is right remember:
HDD1 = fast drive: os/apps/games HDD2 = regular large drive: media/personal/work file storage Don't fill up your HDD1 more then 50%, if think you will need more room for it then pick a bigger one, so if that 150GB is not gonna be enough, then maybe go with a 1TB HDD as HDD1 for now then in a few month buy a ssd and use that for HDD1 for OS/Games/Apps, and push the 1TB to HDD2 and use it for storage. and ya that is all I would change, you can up the mobo to 3x sli if you like but not much of a difference from the LE, other the the extra x16 lane. |

yeah the 150GB is enough for me... all my songs are on a backup
THANKS FOR THE TWEAKS PALS!
I'm also guessing DS will install the latest drivers for like the vid/sound card...or will they use the ones on the disc?
so the EVGA is a better board for gaming?
and again thanks for all the info.......can't wait to JOIN THE DS ARMY!

Our pleasure
evga has better support, if you want to sli/cf, then a best board would be one that has an x16 lane for each gpu. |

Probably about 3 weeks, maybe even a little less if they're done moving to their new building and with a little luck. Mine took 23 days to arrive from the order date, 7 days of that was spent in shipping to central Florida. |

not sure to be honest, it all depends on what you get, if those parts are in stock and etc, you better talk to Sarah, she can give you better time period, but if I were you I would sit back, be patient and let them do their thing, so when you get it, its perfect, if we rush them then they might miss something. but within a month you should have it IMO.

IMHO yes, their support sucks and they are not what they used to be, but its your pc, you got to make the final decision.
