Hi humbug,
Welcome to DS.
That is a nice system . The Hailstorm is a BIG case, so you know. Others will post really in depth suggestions but to get you going, I'd up the CPU boost to level 1 and delete the Noise Reduction. Good times ahead.

I agree with hoserator, drop the noise reduction. No place to put much material and you can adjust fans yourself with AI SUITE mobo software, Bios, or a host of others.    At least drop stage 2.

Unless you're into professional editing , etc, drop to 16 gb ram.   Gaming only needs the 16gb.

Go with the Western Digital Black HDD.   More money but you get a more reliable drive and much longer warranty.

Looks good.

Hi humbug,

Here are my thoughts besides those things already suggested.

1. Change the 850 EVO to the 850 Pro. Much better tech and twice the warranty.

2. Already mentioned but change Overclock to Stage 1. This is a mild OC. There is no sense in getting the HydroLux PRO cooling for the CPU if you don't OC. You could go Stage 2 OC if you wanted to with your case and cooling.

3. I would drop the PCI-E ASUS PCE-N53 wireless adapter. I don't think it makes sense to buy a 802,11n,g,b adapter. A 802.11ac,n,g,b adapter is the better buy. The 802.11ac format offers much faster speeds between your computer and router. Even if you have a 802.11n,g,b router you will eventually change it and it should be a 802.11ac router. The 802.11ac adapter is backward compatible with a n,g,b router so you will be set for a new router. Take a look at the ASUS PCE-AC56 or the ASUS PCE-AC68 dual band adapters. Available from Newegg or Amazon. A simple plug-in install.

4. Your warranty only covers parts replacement for one year. You might want to increase that.

Good luck with your build.

Frank

Hey Humbug,
Like has been said previously the Hailstorm II case (Corsair 900D)  is a very large tower.  It has to be shipped freight which is around $300 for shipping.   I have a somewhat similar build (smaller HD's though lol) and I love it.  I'm not sure that you would need the sound dampening and I would suggest getting the Asus Strix version of the 980 TI especially if you want easy overclocking.  With that being said if you plan on overclocking the cards this is a great case to put everything in a LC loop.  With two radiators and all the fans(11 I think) on mine it really is not very loud.  Although everyone differs in what they consider loud lol.
