Hello everyone!
So the time has come to replace my aging desktop PC, and from what I've heard, DS is excellent place for me to do that.

The PC will be used mainly for gaming. I'll mainly be playing Diablo 3, Starcraft 2, and BF3 on it. I'm looking for something that could run these games on max (or very high) settings. I'd like to spend around $2200, but I'm willing to fluctuate on a reasonable basis. I'm also looking for the PC to be relativity quiet.

change the CPU cooling to the Noctua NH-D14. A lot of ppl go with that here. Also, wont need to upgrade the chassis airflow. The case is a beast, and cooling is great on it.

Id also step up the OC to stg 2, the cpu cooler will handle it no problem.

Other then that, everything is good. I got roughly 2100$ with the build I did like that, with the options I posted. So you do have more room to play with if you want, and add anything you might want or need.

Thanks for the quick reply!

Does the Noctua outperform the H20 Stage 2 240mm cooling? I'm not sure which one to go with.

Also, how many fans does the case come with without the upgrade?

A lot pf people go with the Noctua because of its reliability. It performs just as well, without the hassle I guess. I dont know the number of fans off hand, but I think its one front, two top, one rear, and one side. Im not 100% sure on it, ive read so much before I build mine over the weekend that I cant really remember off hand. I see every gamer use this case though. I was going to go with the liquid cooling option, but one helpful user suggested the Noctua, due to the fact that the LC can have issues, and it out performed the stg 2 option by a bit. I donw know the users name off hand, but im sure he will chime in, very helpful.

Yep, what redkulaid said.   The D14 doesn't out perform but is a very relable cooler.     Most testing has shown the D14 and H100, which is what I think the 240mm Vortex is , perform about the same.     Either work great., but reliability for me counts.    The 240mm cooler does have a pretty good track record, just more to go wrong.   The HafX case has a front 230 mm fan., a top and side 200mm fan and a rear 140mm fan.
