I've been using EVGA Precision X16 as long as I can remember and haven't touched it since I upgraded to the GTX1070 2 or 3 years ago. This fan curve as worked very well for me and I've never seen my temps hit 80°. Even under full Furmark and Heaven tests the temps maxed at 72°

Here's a ss of my PrecX..



I have the fan speed on a 1:1 correlation with the temps.. at 50° I get 50% fans... until I get to 60°.. then we get serious about cooling.

EVGA Precision X1 ver 0.4.8.0 Is the current version and supports both GTX & RTX NVidia video cards.
