I’m thinking of ordering the Vanquish level 3, it has a 1060 6Gb video card. All I want to do is play Microsoft fight sim X and DCS world. Any thoughts if this would be enough power to run these games well?

I’ve played DCS worlds A10, Huey, etc and Falcon 4.0 on a gtx 570 and 970 with no problem.    The gtx 970 is similar to the 1060.    Not to say in very populated areas you won’t see a little random lag, but everything played smooth.

When I played MS Flight Sim X it would lag with lots of commercial traffic, or some feature like clouds, distance, etc turned up, but it wasn’t a very well optimized game at the time. Not sure now.

Have fun.    If you don’t have the Trackir head tracking sensor, get it.   A big difference in immersion.

This assumes a 1080p monitor.
