$1000-$1500 gaming rig (give or take) need help

Budget:
My budget is $1000-$1500

Expectations:
Hopefully, Max out the most recent high end games and I want it to be somewhat future proof (room for upgrades). No real editing is going to be done.

Usage:
Gaming, school work, gaming, internet, gaming.

Special Needs:
No specific special needs.

Hey guys. So this is my first time on this website and I've heard great things, so I'm definitely considering buying from this website. I'd build my own, but between college and ROTC, I really don't have the time. I'm just looking for a generous body to build me a decent gaming system that's around the price of $1000-$1500 give or take. Thanks guys for the help!

so with ur budget. The lvl 1 ODE is great. it has everything u need nothing you dont. As well as a gtx670.


if you dont mind me asking what ROTC? Im a retired Marine myself.

For that price range, ODE is gonna be your best bet around here.

IF you tell us the native res of your monitor we can help you with what gpu is best but budget dictates.

I'm in AFROTC! And that's awesome of you, really respectable. I've always considered becoming a Marine, but I really enjoy what the Air Force has to offer and I love their scholarships... They're really helping me get through college.

As for my resolution, I'm going to be buying a monitor and I'd like to be playing games at 1920x1080 :)

As I've said, I'm willing to go a little above my price range, but I'm not trying to go to crazy with it ahah. I will upgrade be able to upgrade soon enough.

For your budget , the ODE lvl 1 is good band for the buck.  We could show you a custom build but it will be a bit more for the same gaming performance but with custom you have alot more flexibility in parts. 
 
The ODE has a nice case and cooling  an the gtx 670 for  gaming on high to max on that resolution.  Some of the heavier shooters might need the in game graphics tweeked a bit for smooth game play.

lol good for you bro.. if i were you i would go Air Force also. The marines are good at 1 thing.. u need it dead BAM! lol The air force has waaay more job opportunities after you get out.

Retired Air Force myself, and a new owner of an ODE lvl 1, and I was surprised at how good it ran Crysis 3, I had everything max except motion blur, and was using the high SMAA setting  at 1920x1080 and dont recall seeing my fps below 60 and often well above.

MILITARY ROUNDUP! Ahahaha but yea, I'm definitely considering the level 1 ODE, but I'm giving myself time to focus on school and in a few weeks, I'll most likely order it. So now, we got a marine and 2 air force guys.. Anybody else want to join the club? Ahahaha

Ahaha yea I'm only in ROTC so my training isn't too intense just yet. I do crossfit to keep up with what Combat Control requires. A lot of swimming, running and crossfit . But for gaming related talk, I'll post my build when I place my order!

lol good on you for keeping yourself fit. but when u ever find yourself in the thick of it, no crossfit, p90x or million dollar a year trainer will prepare you for that misery. lol but you wouldnt join if you didnt enjoy it. so get CRACKIN!
