Topic: Apollo Hydrolux Pro Easy GPA Swap? Posted: 25 Feb 2016 at 8:13pm |
Hello everyone!
I just wanna know if I add the hydrolux pro to my cpu+gpa, how easy is it to swap the gpa in the future with the tube attached to it? I see a video with sli featuring the apollo with all white hardlined liquid cooling and there are a bracket with the tubes attached to the two GPA with screws on it so was wondering if all it takes is to unscrew them, then take out the cards or have to clean out the tube first. Sorry if this doesn't make any sense. |

if you go with the soft, flex tubing and quick disconnects it'll be a lot easier to swap the graphics cards in and out of the water loop. you can't do that with a hardline (acrylic or copper/nickel piping) config. you'd have to drain the loop completely and disassemble the tubing.

As db188 stated, it's much easier if you have flex-tubing with quick disconnects.
If you get hard tubing, you'd have to drain the tube and possible bend new tubing depending on the GPU. |
