In order for the configuration guys/gals to help you they are going to need to know a few things.
What monitor resolution are you going to be gaming with? The right gpu for your monitors will save hundreds. How many monitors? What other special needs do you have? Small space? Very hot environment? Hate loud fans? Pets? Dusty room? Give them the information they need and I'm certain they can put together a beastly build that you will love for years. |

The difference between the Apollo, Bolt, etc is mostly aesthetic, the same parts being installed in each box. The Slade is the quietest, the Bolt the smallest and the Apollo is good all around selection.
The Vanquish went back to its original concept, being prebuilt offering most customers a good selection of parts and a $200 or so savings since DS can prebuilt them. |

Nope, the 7700k is just fine for any card you pick.
Unless you plan on upping the monitor to a 1440p for example then you really don't need the gtx 1080, but up to you. It doesn't hurt and might help if games in a couple of years get much more demanding, but tough to say. You definitely don't need the Titan X. Its a lot more money than the gtx 1080 Ti for close to the same performance. The gtx 1070 is the card for 1080p, the gtx 1080 for 1440p and the gtx 1080Ti for 4K gaming monitor. That's a general snapshot. The link I showed you, you can plug in the other cards to see the comparisons between all of them. Edited by bprat22 - 08 May 2017 at 8:32am |

My pleasure.
Never say never but I doubt you'll ever need over 16 gig ram, but it doesn't hurt, so if it feels good and you can, then go for it. Same for the 1080 ti with 1080p resolution. It's a strong build and good luck and keep us updated. |
