Just wondering if the DS SSD has disk management software- or its not necessary. I have been using Intel SSD's and have gotten used to using their optimization software (or could be just snake oil..)

It seems (and some smarter members will probably correct meIm%20with%20StupidBig%20Smile) that if you are running W7 and newer, the os takes care of keeping the ssd running optimally through TRIM. I  love the speed of how everything runs (compared to an old 2008 *******w/only one hdd for everything that I also  turn on and leave to make coffee) and have not done anything to the ssd (2) for more than two years now.
If you have W8 and newer, TRIM will also keep pcie and nvm ssds running happy.
