Hi all
i just ordered today new years day , so glad i decided to take a look , i was def impressed on the builds , pricing and different builds available ,
checked a bunch of reviews and dove in .
i almost was going to build myself and really liked what i saw here , and without the headache , i cant wait till my machine arrives . going to feel like forever waiting ,
anyhow glad to be a part and Happy new year .

Welcome!

I've been anxiously awaiting my build... really looking forward to having my first nice gaming PC as well... I almost was going to build the rig myself... but like you... I discovered DS and the deal seems fair to me to avoid the headache. Also, the Lumos case is EXACTLY the case I was going to use if I was building my own. I just love all the glass!

Well stage 5 ,
Moving along good, cant wait to post pics unboxing.

On another note”
2 nights ago i was in my pc room , my wife n kids were in the playroom in our basement ,
I said to my wife , whats that sound ? She said was gonna ask you.
Boom water out of my ceiling , thankfully we were up and there when the pipe broke , i was able to shut it and stop it b4 was bad, and replacedit the next day.
But now i am in the process if building stands for my pc” s to be lifted off the floor.
Ill take it as a eye opener, coulda been worse , coukda benn out of the house or asleep n woke up to a flood.
So a bad thing turning good .

gettin closer
friday i received a email stage 6 , keeping fingers crossed that i see a email tomorrow or wednesday on the way ,,

i was just broadcasting on my 8320 which is giving up slowly ,
and my cpu usage was up way high 97% 100% i was hoping it would jump down , it did , it shut itself off ,
so hopefully i can get on the new before my next broadcast ,

im planning on doing a rebuild on this pc, maybe a new mboard and try the ryzan 1700 series , , but at least i can regroup and take some time in a build on it ,
hope to be posting unboxing soon ,

yes
im running obs to broadcast it from iracing , and also have
the atvo overlay program running , which is a bit of a hog ,
i think im responsible for its slow death, i clocked the 8320 a bit , and may have heated it too much,
it used to run at 65 +- cpu and then 1 day i went a lil higher and it shut down,
so i reverted back , but damage done i think,
plus not water cooled ,

it was a 6300 when i first purchased the pc years ago ,
i upgraded to the 832 for the price,
im runnin a amd fx(tm) 8320 eight core processor 3.72GHz
16.0 G Ram DDR3
64 bit win 10 pro
GTX 960 nvidea
EVGA 650 gold Power supply and have 6 fans inside

Heat does not kill your cpu, you probably had very high vcore and that can kill cpu.

Temps below 80c 24/7 are perfectly fine.

Can you run one app at a time instead of both, the overlay is the one responsible for slowing things down based on your explanation

No cant run em seperate , 1 reads or displays the other ,
What i can do tho and i may try it ,
Run the obs ( which is the broadcast software ) on my old pc
And run iracing and atvo (overlay) on the new pc
Through a capture card , which i have for my boys to stream their wiiU
Onto the pc ,
That woul lighten the load onthe 8320 ,
But also the Vanquish im receiving shud run it all without batting an eye
I may try both ways , when the new build is here .
If you go on youtube type in search -sr broadcasting - is where i broadcast,
You can see what im talking about. Im learning tho .
