Evening all,

I will soon be recieving my 1st digitalstorm PC. I have a question for the experts in HW. The motherbrd coming is:  nVidia 680i LT Core 2 Quad (By: eVGA) (nForce 680i SLI) (A1 Revision)
I believe this only has 1 IDE connector. Can I buy a IDE connector card and slip it in one of the slots on the MB?
I would like to have 2 DVD/drives and use two of my old IDE HWs aswell as the SATA drives I have.

Also this should be running Vista64bit.

Thanks
Deasun

You could do that, but, I suggest purchasing IDE to USB adapters. I have seen these on the market. They are these nifty little things that can take either SATA or IDE and you can plug it into a USB port.

Also, your motherboard has a lot of SATA ports, take advantage of all of that bandwidth. Purchase some "sata to IDE" adapters, they will also work.
