I have never compressed a drive but for individual files, little used, but left accessible, maybe. Saves space and leaves it available.   For a drive, I wouldn't think a good idea. It might save space but a compressed file takes a lot more cpu and drive resources to compress and uncompress with commonly used files every time they are used.

Haven't done it so I'm going by theory.

I see now, the file system type is RAW. It claims to have 57GB of data available, which would mean all of my files have already been wiped.
