Hi kangaroochris.... Looks good but , if you can, change the Seagate for the Western Digital Black HDD. Better reliabilty and longer warranty.   Change to the EVGA 750 SuperNova for the same reasons.

Good luck.

Hi kangaroochris,

Will you be gaming on one monitor or two monitors? What is the resolution of your monitors?

Your build looks good with the changes suggested by byrat22. Especially you want to change the PS to the SuperNova with a ten year warranty.

Frank

If you want to game out on max settings, depending on your resolution the graphics card choices can vary.

If you're just gaming at 1080p, the GTX 980 is more than enough. If you're talking 1440p, then a GTX 980 Ti.4K? Then you're looking at 980 Ti SLI.

I would be running 2 1080p monitors 1 for gaming and one for web browsing/ recording.
Would I have any problems with the heat on the computer with this type of set up or should I also go with a gpu liquid cool?
My current system seems to over heat fast under heavy loads and I currently filled the case with fans and have a hyper 212 evo as cpu cooler. I just want to make sure I won't get the same type of heat and better performance.

For that setup, a single GTX 980 should be more than plenty.

You shouldn't really have heat issues unless you are gaming for 2-3 hours at a time. Then, the room might warm up.

As for overheating, our systems are built to make sure there is no overheating. You should never have a BSOD or crash due to overheating. Just be sure to clean out the dust routinely every few months.
