No the evil google is doing that so they can make more money by shoving ads in our faces.
with google ita all about money, I would touch that browser if my life depended on it. |

They should call it adrome instead of chrome, that way its more reflective of their real intentions.
There is no browser that is more customizable then opera, so I'm sticking with my opera. |

Google Chrome is now my default browser because the developers actually have common sense.
The "Home" and "Stop" button got removed. Tabs replace the useless header. "File, Edit, View" bar is gone. Thanks for using some common sense and taking away all the useless garbage. The address bar acts as a search. Type in anything without a dotDOMAIN and it'll bring up the search results from whatever search engine you selected (Yahoo, MSN, Google). It does not come with any ads.. I don't know where you got the idea it did since none of its other products came with ads... |

you can do everything you said with opera and I think ff also. I didn't know removing a quarter inch line would make developers have common sense, I thought it was in security,m usability and customization
what browser doesn't use the addy bar as a search bar also? have you been using maxon for that past 4 years common sense? google is trying to use "duplicate tabs" as a big deal been using that for the past few years. can google let you do this or manipulate your context menu anyway you want? without a plugin or an extension? this is my context menu, duplicate tab is a right click away,I don't have to move my mouse anywhere on the page to make it happen. I can make that as litte or as loaded as I want. Can google do that? no, even ff can't do that. I can set java rules and script rules site by site. I think not, now that pic show a browser who's developers had enough common sense to let me customise the browser how I like it, not how they like it. thats common sense. I don't know where you get your browsers from.. maybe an inside source?
FF3 has it next to their address bar. IE7 has it in the same place but the address bar works as a search function that gets results from Live and not anywhere else.. Ohhh I can hide my bookmark toolbar? Wow that's some customization there... In other words, both have absolutely zero customization. Security is nice to have but I can easily live without it. |

I can hid any part of my browser I want, I think you are mixing up stuff here, you are the one that can't customize your browser,.
as I said in my previous post with a pic, I can customize my context menu or any part of my browser I want, I can add commands or remove commands. you can't do that, so correct me if I'm wrong but I can customize up the ying yang and you can do nothing but what google devs gave you. I can make my opera look more plain then this chrome bs.I can have it so that the only bar you see is my tabs. and I get my browsers from the main site of the developer opera firefox so lets recap I can make opera look like chrome I can customise opera's right click context menu in any section I can customise java, java script, cookies, referrer, proxy and even browser identification based on website,(each web page can have its own rules) and thats just a few thing and not all and you think I can't customize nothing? chrome can't even do any of that. I don't want to argue, I'm testing chrome myself and so far its a piece of crap comparing to ff and opera's capabilities. and I know browsers like a back of my hand. Look at this pice of crap
everytime you open a page it open a process of 15000K or higher. I got 30 tabs open in opera for 150,000K now if I open 30 tabs in chrome that would be 30 x 15000 = 450,000 just 2 tabs open right now at its already at 100,000K you better get 16GB of ram so you can use chrome properly this is chrome with 2 tabs open, one tab is ds and the other is google search page Edited by DST4ME - 04 Sep 2008 at 1:04am |

Ho boy am I missing something here? Two tabs open on a single FF3 it's 64,552 KB.
I realized it's a huge memory hogger especially when you have more tabs. Edited by Axel Daemon - 03 Sep 2008 at 12:29am |

Well I just started playing with Opera and am not sure about it yet. It seems speedier than FF3 tho. FF3 likes to lock up on me when it gets too many security issues. Opera let some thru, but I just cleaned em with spybot. I dunno what kinda stuff DST4ME is talking about. It's all so confusing. I dunno much about setting up all the browser options hehehe. I will eventually try chrome, but I'm not sure if I can tell which one is best hehe. I just get confused about web browsers.

thats opera boss, after many tests I find opera beats ff's butt, but I don't want to start a browser war. Opera does everything righ off the box, I don't have to install million plugins and to make any adjustments to opera, I can do it myself and don't have to wait or search for any plugin/extensions.
so the skin is opera's original. Edited by DST4ME - 03 Sep 2008 at 12:38pm |

I see I see, oh well no big, I do like the skin though... I'm an FF user (no preference really, I don't use that many fancy functions, just adblock and tha'ts about it, I just use FF for the security fact, no virus attacks ever since I switched to FF for the past few years heh).
I probably could just as easily switch to Opera without any hassle, but I don't feel the need to so I'm fine just now as well heh. Maybe there's a skin add-on that is based on Opera for FF. |

lol they can do all the work they want, 15000K process per tab means they better give you some ram so you can run that browser, I mean we give norton and McAfee bad rating for using so many processes and thus being so heavy, and here chrome is putting those to shame

Ya tested that too a while back, not impressed, if I were to recommend 2 browsers it would be opera and ff, they have the most range. Ofcourse I use opera so that would be my first recommendations.
Anyways if you want to customize it or need to add somehing let me know. for example if you want to send pics to imageshak from right click let me know |

ya stop and reload are the same one. you can add or remove any panel or tool bar. it takes a bit of getting used to but when you get used to it, its hard to go back.
remember if you enable cache it will load faster. One of my favorite things is the "copy to note" feature so I can keep any text and then access it either from right click or the side panel. also opera can read any text you like (highlight text and press "v") it may ask you to download a file for it. I got Chrome as soon as I saw it.. anything from google is usually worth it.
Had it for 10 minutes, set it as default.
it's still in beta, so there aren't many plugins, but who cares.
