Hi gonarip... To update ahead a few generations you could get the Asus Z170 Deluxe with the i7-6700k and 16gb DDR4 2666mhz ram.

For cooling, stick with Noctua and grab their new Noctua D15.

HafX with Noctua was always my favorite combo here at DS until they retired the case.    Can't do better.

Have fun.

there's really no need as long everything is running fine.  upgrading your graphics was probably the only real difference maker for gaming.  yes, you get about 20% IPC improvement with the new quad core over that Sandy Bridge, but the Sandy won't be holding back your graphics, so who cares?  besides, if you move to the new platform, you'll need: a new mobo and new DDR 4 system memory (which will make your ram capacity upgrade moot).  if you're current cpu is cooled well enough by its current cooler, then no need to upgrade.

are you looking to upgrade just to have the new shiny?  or are you thinking you're lacking performance with your current system?  are components failing?

if you really want a substantial/noticeable upgrade with your current system, buy yourself a new monitor, preferably a 1440p IPS like this:

Acer XB270HU bprz Black 27'' 144Hz WQHD G-SYNC Widescreen LED Backlight LCD Monitor IPS 350
