Purchased Dec 31 2014. Wondering if there are any upgrades available for my krypton. It has the i7-4940mx, 980m 8GB, 32GB system memory. I mostly see bottleneck from the GPU when playing ARK. I was wondering if the gtx 1070/1080 is available for it or if there is some adapter for the interal GPU slot to make an external dock for a desktop GPU.

You'd have to contact DS.   The model number, like s: 8285 vs 8298, makes a difference. An external adapter, my guess would be no way without custom modding that would pose problems.   Not sure, however.
