Laptop battery seems to be dead

Laptop only works when plugged in. I bought the laptop August of 2013. When on my desk, the laptop would always be plugged in. In fact it was almost always plugged in the majority of the time. O:nly a few times had it be run on the battery.

What could be the issue? Am I able to get a replacement battery? Would my warranty cover it?

I must say that I use two chargers, one given by digital storm, and another bought for $80 online. Same voltage, same everything. So that cant be the reason.

Laptop batteries do die and I doubt warranty would cover it.   DS could sell you one or tell you where to get one.

Try removing the battery, unplugging the laptop for a few minutes. Then reinstall the battery and check it or see if it charges after hooking to AC. Sometimes the laptop needs all power removed to reset .
