Motherboard upgrade?

My sister placed an order earlier this week for two desktop gaming rigs and has been advised that she's being upgraded from the Z170 to a P270 motherboard.  We're happy with either Asus or Gigabyte and she was assured that either would be used.  The problem is that we can't find any info on the P270.  She called and asked who the manufacturer was and they told her, "the same". Confused

I actually steered her to Digital Storm and I'm feeling nervous.  If anyone has any info, it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm thinking it's a typo or misunderstanding.   The P270 should be Z270, the new Kaby Lake chipset, mobo, CPU , replacing the Skylake Z170 .

There's also a H270 entry level motherboard, with fewer features, like no overclocking, sli, etc.

Thanks for responding!

I hoped that it was merely a typo, but it seems like they'd have mentioned that when she called.  Both systems she purchased are supposed to have the Z170 and I really do wish we could get some clarity, here. 

We wouldn't have a problem with the Z270.  Keeping my fingers crossed...

It should be a Z270.
